What is a Residential Children’s Home?
A residential children’s home is a special place where children, who need more help and support than can be provided within families can find a secure base in which they can feel loved and allows them to grow and develop as they find their way in the world
Our Home provides a safe and caring environment for young people who are unable to live within a family at this time. Our homes can accommodate young people of either gender; aged from eight to up to eighteen years old.
Our children’s homes have a genuine, warm atmosphere giving a sense of security and belonging for young people. There is a real sense of community, to which both our young people and staff contribute to, which is based on mutual respect.
Our residential teams work in partnership with families, carers, local authorities, and the young people themselves to establish the most suitable home based on their individual needs so we can deliver the best level of care and support. We promote regular activities for children in our care and encourage them to take part in a variety of sports, hobbies and new experiences that they may enjoy.
